Eyes to See, Ears to Hear

It is French for ‘I am finished’ and as for my equipment testing, I am exactly that.  It has taken me about 2 weeks to get to this point when I originally thought it would only be a few days.  The overarching theme to my time has been kinks galore.  Most of it was centered around getting sound from my Mackie Onyx 1220 mixer to record in Adobe Audition 2.0 running in a Windows environment in an application running on my Mac.

Sparing us both the details, last night my goal was accomplished.  I successfully recorded an audio sample out of Fiddler on the Roof… it was what I had been watching most recently on my personal media player.  Bad news was that woke up yesterday with a lot of nasal congestion and a sore throat.  I was so so most of the day but when I woke up this morning… yuck.  I’ve been sneezing and sniffling all day and have had some other cold-like symptoms.  What’s up with getting a cold in June????

With testing now behind me, hopefully I can tend to the website a little more.
