How can a missionary be a ‘-holic’ of a tv show that only airs in the States?  Good question.  All I know is that I’m addicted.  Earlier this year, we decided to use some of our internet allotment to watch something American online and we chose Survivor although neither of us were true fans at the time.  After one episode, we were hooked.  Now, we’ve had four prior seasons sent to us on SD cards, have watched three and a half others (only halfway through Heroes vs. Villains right now) online and I know have an unnatural desire to be on the show.  Long shot, I know.  But, that would just be stinking cool.

So, as we work our way through past seasons (God bless the internet, family and the postal service), we are keeping up to date with the current season.  As each week passes that Russell doesn’t get voted off, I wonder if the others are suffering from malnutrition leading to villain-looks-like-a-hero disorder.  Gotta give it to him, Russell is tactful.

Either way, Fridays may now become my Survivor venting day.  I enjoy the show that much.  Especially 10,000 miles from home!

Not the blog itself, just the title.  I thought it was a little cheezy when I first named it that but now after two and a half years, man it’s gotta change!!!
