Weeping Cherry Tree

This week, I am hooked on the weeping cherry tree outside of our kitchen windows! From now until Fall, it will sway back and forth, weeping in the wind. How fashionable! The blooms of Spring make it especially beautiful and eye catching!

A very sentimental tree for me. The tree my dad planted for mom when we finally had the right yard for it. So this is always may mom and dad’s tree.

I have a thing for weeping trees — something about their droopy branches really appeals to me

I adore weeping trees, and weeping cherries are a favorite! The delicate and scented blossoms are gorgeous, and when the petals take to the wind, it looks like a faerie wonderland. In any season, the tree is beautiful.

I love weeping cherry trees. I had one like this outside my kitchen window in our first house and it was so pretty in the spring! We went back recently and the tree is now bigger than the whole house. We were amazed.
